A unique rural venue owned and managed by Al & Carla Winsey, Silchester Farm is a picturesque countryside estate nestled in the historic village of Silchester, Hampshire. Blending rustic charm with modern luxury, this special venue features a selection of spaces for a wide range of events, all set amidst acres of open countryside and kitchen gardens. It’s a beautiful spot for us to show off our delicious doughnuts!
The End of Summer Market on Sunday 28th September was all about celebrating the end of summer with a day full of local suppliers, delicious eats and countryside charm. The whole family were able to enjoy everything from tasty treats and unique finds for the home or to gift, to sipping drinks on the terrace and soaking up the late summer sun surrounded by lovely rural views.
The Trough farm shop, a new addition to Silchester Farm, offered hot drinks – visitors enjoyed pairing a fresh coffee with our doughnuts. And the BBQ was filling the air with enticing smells while shoppers wandered the stalls. Of course, our fresh artisan doughnuts made the perfect dessert after their BBQ snack.
We had all our favourites available at the market, such as Dark Chocolate and Pistachio and Biscoff. They were all rather popular!
This wasn’t our first event at Silchester Farm. We’ve also been involved with their farmers' markets, and their Christmas market was amazing. Other events coming up at Silchester Farm include their winter roasts, which are always lovely, and we hope to join them at their Christmas market again, which is on 7th December this year. Come and check it out if you've never been, it really is a countryside gem.
